I can see why people are looking into Islam in such a bad light in the western world, it doesn't help that more and more terrorist attacks are happening. Let me reiterate that Islam is a religion of peace and I try to advocate that message e.g. I really care if someone is gay or isn't it isn't my life we have free-will for a reason. I also tolerate that people have different faith to my own even then I don't give a rat's ass if your hindu, jew, christian or even a damn satanist if you don't restrict my freedoms why do I have the right to restrict yours.

Your posting is a pretty idealistic view and doesn't put things in the right perspective.


Are you denying the genocides and ethnic cleansing that occured in some of those countries?

This is completely ridicules and false. Your circumstances have nothing to do with Islam but with conditions of the countries you are mentioning.

The European countries and US had the same issues with other minority groups. Its just what happens as a group grows larger and pushes for society to assist them in their cultural wants and needs.

Additionally, as you move down your %'s your moving far more into dictatorial societies that are simply fucked and many of which are in the news today because the people (massively Muslim) want change away from the circumstances you describe. This has to do with the ruling groups, not the mass of the people and Islam itself.

Hell, some (Bosnia) you describe issues that came not due to Muslims but due to the Christians in charge. Others like Lebenon, are a combination of issues from all parties... hence a more civil war issue.

This OP is just racist in its core. For one, try learning about what Shariah Law is. Its not universal among Muslims as its almost purely based on Hadith literature, not the Qur'an, and the Hadith's vary greatly depending on the group in charge. Kinda like how Catholics have a far different rule structure than Baptists or Protestants or Lutherans, etc.

I don't think that % of the population is the best of representations in regards to extremism of Islam. Even in 1% there can be bad seeds, the ones who take it to the extreme and believe themselves to be the bringers of law and spreaders of their religion. But then again, not only Islam is limited to such extremists, Christianity had it's fair share of few completely ignorant dickwads too, the pastor who created the "Burn the Quaran day" is a perfect example. At the end of the day you can't base the % of the religion onto the rise in violence/disorder in a country. Earlier this year we had Islam protestors protesting during the 1 minute of silence on 11th of November during the rememberance minute, they were shouting shit such as "British soldiers are stupid and deserve to die". That can surely fall into the 10% bracket, and besides, Britain had Halal as long as I can remember, selling at large supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco. And yet according to you we are still in the <5% bracket.

Oh, so why is there never a christian riot in any of the muslim states? Why are almost always the christian/western countries that have these kinds of issues?

Fair enough. But you should know that muslim minorities in Europe are a lot diffrent that the muslims in their home country (I speak from experience)
