The only real issue would be if the price tag was much more than the 3DS (i.e. above $350 for me). That'd be an issue, not the analogue nubs...

hmmm good point! I doubt they will have a pop in/out function either because people would damage them eventually. I,d say sony will release an official case that will protect the sticks.
