Just noticed that Nicalis has released NightSky for PC.

Now that there is a PC version, the WiiWare version can wait.

seems fun for an free flash game

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

You think so? To each his own. I'm always interested in these indie bite-sized games.

The game was a 2009 IGF Finalist. Any ways, here is a description from their page:

NightSky is an action-puzzle game that offers an ambient gameplay experience unlike any other—cerebral challenges fill uniquely designed picturesque worlds. Each of these worlds is broken into different areas in which the player must maneuver a sphere by using realistic physics to advance. There are no enemies, no bosses and no violence in NightSky.

An intuitive experience is friendly for casual and mainstream gamers. NightSky also offers a formidable challenge for hardcore players, with an unlockable Master mode. The original soundtrack by experimental jazz musician, Chris Schlarb will further heighten the surreal experience.

GAME FEATURES:

  • Design direction by Nicklas Nygren
  • 2D platform/puzzle-based gameplay
  • Advanced 2D physics model
  • Multiple difficulties with unique topography
  • 11 massive levels, each with expansive areas to explore
  • Multiple “vehicles” each with specific uses and dynamics physics
  • Additional secrets and unlockables
  • Original ambient soundtrack by experimental musician, Chris Schlarb

fun game!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Maybe he is a perfectionist? Think it came out a month ago... BTW I also played Trundle, when it was a ball, and it's good (remember I got stuck somewhere), though this one is more focused in using powers like speed/ brake/ gravity/ bombs, there was even a pinball section in a level... but you can't jump.
