Lot of negativity surrounding the Wii, so why not some good news?? Goldeneye has sold more than a mil and thats a damn good thing. Good games should sell well and this is a good game (IMo). Oh some naysayers will say "its just riding on the success of the original" but i think thats crap because if your game is good, word will spread and people will support it. (most of the time?) Rouge Agent was riding of the GE success and looked how that turned out. Oh sure the game is not perfect, there is some lag in the campaign when things get too hairy, the motion controls could have been a little better(they suck online), there is no voice chat for some weird reason and I have problems with the online freezing (that could just be me), but damn if the online is not great, excellent modes. I have so much fun that I dont care. I think most people will too. Now Activision if you can throw some a map packs our way, it would be....golden!!! Id be lying if i said that GE was a better game COD:BO but never played the Wii version for that so dont know how it turned out. and Conduit 2, dont have much faith that dev team, sorry. If you have a Wii and have even passing interest in FPS get this game. Especially u multiplaters, your not going to find an FPS like this on the HDs. old school fun!!

That makes it one of the fastest selling FPS's on the Wii, doesn't it? It did ~20k the last week so it's still selling as well.  

I'm actually surprised it did this good. I was almost positive that Black Ops (Wii) was going to eat up all the sales and I never would've thought that both of them would do well. Congrats GoldenEye!!

Here's hoping Conduit 2 gets at least half a mil

@ pandora  my theory is is that there are alot more multiplat owners than there are "core" Wii owners. (by core i mean, people who didnt buy a Wii JUST for WiiWhatever). So most people who wanted COD just bought it for their HD/PC and just got GE for Wii because it is different and exclusive, thats why i did, best of both worlds

Oh yeah definitely. I think the only reason for someone to pick up the Wii version over PS3,360,and PC versions (other than them only having a Wii) is if they prefer pointer controls over dual analog. Treyarch did a very good job on the Wii version but there's still lots of things missing (killcam, theater mode, some killstreaks, etc.), so yeah, the HD versions would be a better choice for a multiplat owner.

dont really care about theater mode, but killstreaks and killcams??? damn, that kinda sucks

Great game! In multiplayer I can't stop play it.

On the sales side, Americas sales had a boost in the last weeks. I think it will reach  1,8 mil easly

If it's marketed, then easily. The original will, so...

So that means, for good, well advertised Wii-games, 3rd parties can top 2mil!
