Forums - Sony - Digital Foundry: Killzone 3 is a must buy for all PS3 owners

Digital Foundry, the technical wizard thought on Killzone 3:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-vs-killzone-3?page=1

"This new sequel is a significant improvement in every area that matters and it's a must buy for PlayStation 3 owners. The single-player campaign is fun and exciting from start to finish and never feels artificially prolonged. New weapons are introduced that are a joy to wield, but crucially, they are never over-used. In addition, some of the extended set-pieces in the game offer an audio-visual experience that propels Killzone 3 way ahead of its competitors: the prolonged, pitched battle against the MAWLR in particular is nothing short of spectacular."

"Just like its predecessor, as a technological demonstration of the power of Sony hardware, Killzone 3 is a hugely impressive piece of work. But what makes this game so special is that the core gameplay experience is just so strong: in the midst of battle, nothing looks like it, nothing plays quite like it. For PlayStation 3 owners it really is a must-buy."

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

That's me after suggestion i should spend 60 euros for a 5 hour long single player campaign just because they slightly improved technicals from previous part :D

If all you're going to play is the single player (which from most accounts, can run you 7-9hrs), then this isn't the game for you. However, with the multiplayer constantly given the green light, the game will offer much more than that (not to mention Move & co-op modes as well).

This game isnt just designed for a 6 hour playthrough - thats just the single player. a lot of people just buy these games for the just online component - in which case some spend over 500 hours playing. personally i would say thats good value for money, considering PSN is free.

Must BUY!

I Played the singleplayer from Killzone 2 for 20h at least...! lets go for this one!

I think you'll agree that that is a very special exception.  Very much an exception than a rule.   Killzone is just as sufficient in it's content than any COD game.
