However, that is all negated by the fact that you're using a WP7. I mean wtf.

I don't know what you are trying to say...but if its what I think it is...why don't you do something productive and go see if there is a new custom rom you can flash your Droid with? Maybe you will get Netflix streaming with the next update...

I already have netflix ... and hulu on my Android phone. Along with tons of emulators as well as a far better UI... etc etc....

Thats cool, but people that don't want to fiddle/hack/jailbreak  their android phones do not have netflix as it isn't available on android yet.

As far as UI, to each is own...WP7 tiles look great to me and do what I need them to do. Sure they are simplistic, and tech savvy users tend to feel offended that something can look that simple. For the rest of the population, its probably the most intuitive, simple and best looking UI on the market today...

that's kinda misleading cause most android apps are ad supported.. so it's a different money making model.. cause we already learned that nobody actually buys an android app compared to the iPhone..  so most companies switch their strategy a while ago.. and lol.. who in the world would make an Android or WP7 app first? the money is with Apple.. fruit ninja sold over 2 million..

Of course, and I noted the same thing in the OP. But I still find it impressive that the WP7 can display numbers like these, despite being a fraction of the install base of Android. And no disputing that iOS is the place to go.

OT: Considering the install base of WP7, impressive.  Most impressive.

Considering greater majority of Android revenue is from ads, not really. Why do you think the prices are cheaper?

Achievement whore UNITE!  Honestly, that's the primary driver for my desire to play games on WP7...you can bet ur ass that developers will look at his, and see that and sya..."Hey, if I can implement that buy once model, I can boost sales of higher quality..." As in...make a game for XBLA for dual use on the 360 and the WP7 platform...I'd drop the 800 MSP.

Netflix and Hulu already confirmed their legitimate apps are on the way.

Not sure how tiles are more simplistic than icons... beyond that they are way less on screen due to size of tile vs size of icon... but I'll take widgets over tiles any day.

Plus, real multitasking, faster response, etc.

Basically, I have a real computer in the palm of my hand while iOS and WP7 peeps have 'smartphones'.

The Netflix app is confirmed as legitimate app for "upcoming" Android phones that use Qualcom processors.

No legacy support, no support of other processors (yet), no timeframe...no standardization...which is pretty much expected from android these days.

Faster response? You pulled that out of your left ear as its widely known that WP7 runs faster on lower spec'd phones...

As far as multitasking, its coming in the next major update for WP7 (August)...enjoy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKhoL_lTXRM

You obviously seem very invested in your android device and don't want your hard work to go unnoticed...why else would you hitting your chest here would be insulting all of the other phones?

While that works for you, it really doesn't work for a lot of people, who want a seamless experience with as little user fiddling as possible. Android is by far the worst device in that regard...

Cool, I agree.

Is that a guy from Demon's Souls or Dark Souls on your avatar?

Doesn't the price difference of each make this less impressive?  Far less people have actually bought games, they just make more per sale.

Android isn't renowned for being a place where users like to pay for a lot of apps, so developers either have to sell for cheap or just be free and get income from ads. The fact that WP7 can generate comparable revenue with prices closer to where developers need them to be, on a userbase that is a fraction of Android's is impressive in its own right. We just don't know what the revenue from ads are for these games on Android, so the comparison isn't totally valid, but still.
