Well I was gonna kill an abortion doctor because I'm pro-life but then I saw the irony in that and decided not to do it :/

I knew you right wing pro-life Christians were killers!

Lol it was a joke. I am pro life but I find it hilarious how some pro life guys are so idiotic they will actually kill abortion doctors because they think it will stop abortions.

Er... you were the one who wanted to kill someone by taking Justice in your own hands weren't you.

From the persepective of someone who is Pro-life, an abortion doctor is MANY MANY times worse then those two people you wanted to kill.

I mean think about it.  If you believe a Fetus is a baby... we are talking about people who kill multiple babies a month.

Now, for someone like you who thinks you need to take justice in your own hands some times... what would you do if you lived in the same area as someone who killed multiple babies a month?

Considering how enraged you were about those two people in england... I could only imagine said person would be dead this instant if you believed a fetus was a child.

Shush you. Don't you use what I said in the past to discredit me. I was angry and irrational back then (though I still don't agree with the "rehabilitation" that was used in that situation).

Anyways, it still is pretty ironic that someone who calls himself "pro life" would have such little respect for life (or maybe their respect for life ends after a person is born, after which everyone's fair game to be killed).

Christians are also not supposed to be violent, but then again you can only judge a religion based on the actions of it's followers (their actions done in the name of that religion).

It's ironic to be pro-life and to kill 1 person to save dozens?  I don't really see Irony in that... as by killing one person you would be saving dozens.  I mean, aboritions in the eyes of a pro-life person probably has to be worse then the holocaust, because more "people" are killed and worst of all, they're all children.

Yes. it s ironic for someone who considers himself "pro-life" to want to kill anyone, regardless of the reasons. It's called being inconsistent. Also, just because pro-life people think fetuses are people (children), doesn't make it true.

Thank you. At least you're consistent.

No it's not.  It's not inconsistant in the least.  Being pro life means your for life.  In taking one life to perserve many more others, and more importantly completely innocent others... is very consistant.

As for pro-life people thinking fetuses are children doesn't make it true... that's.

A) Irrelevent.

B) It doesn't make it ture that they aren't either.   There is no actual big "Scientific" proof otherwise.

I mean, assuming you don't think fetuses are children.  Which i'd guess by the way you put that.

When are they children?  At what point does an unborn thing become a person, and why.  What metric are you using to judge that.

It is very very inconsistant. Saying that killin people is wrong, but then going on yourself to kill people (allegedly to stop people being killes), in itself proves hypocrisy. A person who calls himself "pro-life" should theoretically value life and try to protect it, and absolutely detest the ideea of killing someone.

And an unborn child isn't a person. Only people who are born are persons. What's your view on this matter?

People who are pro life are against killing babies.  That has nothing to do with killing baby killers... right before they are going to kill more babies.

Ok, lets look at your stance though... and show where real inconsistancy is.  According to you, an unborn child isn't a person... therefore it's ok to abort a baby up to...and including right before birth.

Even though there is absolutely no difference in an unborn "thing" 5 minutes before it's born, and 5 minutes after it's born, outside of location.

As for me?  A fetus becomes a child as soon as it develops brainwaves.  It's what we use to decide when to end a human life so it makes sense that this would be what we would use to suggest ones start.

This is usually between weeks 10-12.

Outside of the conception arguement, it's really the only consistant arguement out there.  It's not like it's something science will ever be able to definitivly prove anyway though.

The thought never comes to me in the least bit. Like many have said we tend to act out scenarios in our minds. Usualy I act out myself beating the living tar out of people I despise; especialy the bullies that picked on me when I was in school.

If you don't value life as a whole, why would you care if "babies" are being "killed"? There's really no rational argument for saying that a baby's life is more important than an adult's life. If you don't view life as a whole as something that needs to be protected, then you have no business in being against abortions, on the account that "babies" are "killed" (not to mention that most of the "pro-life" crowd are Christians, and killing someone, anyone, is a sin in their religion).

The difference between an "unborn thing" 5 minutes before it's born, and 5 minutes after it's born is the same as the difference between an underage person 1 day before he or she turns 18, and day after he or she turns 18. Still, your "brainwaves" argument is good. I'm not an expert on the matter, as I don't study medicine or biology, nor have I read anything on this subject (terrible of me to have an opinion while being so uninformed, no?). Alas, these days, when people are becoming so "specialized" in certain fields of interest, you end uop relying on "experts" in a certain field to tell you what to think about something you're not directly investigating yourself.

Glad we're on the same page!

I try to avoid the whole abortion topic if possible because people have such strong feelings on it.
