Forums - General Discussion - Have you ever even had the slightest thought of killing somebody?

yes,but just a thought and nothing more.

Nope.  About the closest i've come is the realization that most murders would be extremly easy because it's not like TV where they always catch someone.

Never actually had anyone I wanted to kill, but hey, i've had a pretty good life and am pretty chill.

"Worst" thing anyones ever done to me really, was shit I didn't even know happened because I was young, where my Great Grandmother, who wasn't rich, but owned a bunch of land because she lived in the country had her estate sucked dry by a corrupt lawyer who tricked her out of poer of attorny.  Shortly afterwards the government went to them for the land for development projects and made tons and tons of money.

So the biggest "tradgedy" of my life that wasn't self inflicted was NOT being rich.

I think it would be pretty easy too...honestly, how many people would find a body that has 300 pounds of weights attached to them at the bottom of a lake 2000 miles from where they live?

yeah... buuuuuut.  Chances are if it's anyone people would expect you'd WANT dead... people would know they were dead and people would harass you about it unless they had a lot of other enemies.

Which in of itself would be stressful.

But I mean, you look at serial killers... it takes forever to catch them... and usually they have patterns.  (though not the crazy TV paterns you see like "Only kills people who have blue socks."

They're usually only caught because serial killers CAN'T stop, and things like moving may make it even easier to catch you.

Some of the murder shows on Tru TV show a lot better view of what can happen, and some of them are still unsolved to this date on those shows.

That is a huge tragedy.

Kill the bastard!

More on topic.

Yes. Be it subconciously in the assessment of a threat or a wish to prove an unobtainable alpha status. Or perhaps even conciously, just for the purile consideration of how you could kill someone.

The true test of any scholar's work is not what his contemporaries say, but what happens to his work in the next 25 or 50 years. - Milton Friedman.

Never even crossed my mind.

Well, maybe in one case, two weeks ago, playing Monster Hunter Tri with a friend online...I was so frustrated that day if I saw him I'd punch him as hard as I could.

But kill someone? Never even considered it really. If people could get away with one free murder, they'd be no-one left on the planet. That much I know. It's human nature, after all, and if there's no consequence...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Nobody has ever done anything to me that's bad enough to justify killing them.

Maybe I'll kill whoever the leader of the NDP is if they ever get elected in Canada (which they won't).

Well I was gonna kill an abortion doctor because I'm pro-life but then I saw the irony in that and decided not to do it :/
