i feel like there's nothing else i can really say about all this. there's a lot of personal back-and-forth going on, and it gets tiresome.

yeah long days tend to be like WWI... dig in the trenches and just shout to the other side... long and tiresome.

Yes I felt Heph was insulting, but I'm over it. No I don't think he disregarded my points. Well he's claiming much of it is actually prof's points and that implies I can't share the same thoughts, but for my independent points he's addressed them as he sees them. I wouldn't expect him to agree with me on them regardless of his alignment.

your post where you voted  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=3919375
his reply and responce when noname asked why he cut more. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=3919979

He's just saying they are worthless. You also don't get back to them when you have your back and forth.  None of it ever mentioning prof.

his reply with your responces http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=3920154

In these you two go back and forth a bit and only after all these posts do you mention the defending of ABC. you didn't even mention it in your original post where you voted. You were saying his reaction to you voting for him had you more convinced.  Then one small things changes and suddently you unvote him.

So I'm wondering where the bolded above comes in with the dismissing your points.  Also I'm wondering why you let some of the posts go in your vote posts.  Why you let your vote go so easily for a point that wasn't even your main argument?

Something is rather fishy about your actions here

HOS: Links

For the points I made with my vote. The first I do once again address in the third link you've provided. "I don't know how scum think. I wouldn't put it past you to leave your scum-tell out in plain sight though." The second wasn't really a reason for me to be suspicious of Heph, but more a reason for me to not hold back from voting.

For the mentioning of prof: It's surprising(no not reall) you missed it since you quoted Heph here where he mentions my exchange with prof. I addresses that in this post with "I don't even know what you're getting at in the third paragraph. I have freely admitted that prof's interrogation of you has affected my suspicions, but he's also given me a town vibe. If he's scum and got me to vote for a townie, then I'm going to feel pretty stupid." I may have misinterpreted the parallel he was trying to draw, but it is true that prof has affected my thinking, as he tends to do every round.(whether that's intentional or not)

Do I have to bring up every single point I've made against someone when I vote? Go back to my post where I HoS'd Heph: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=3918453 "Since you pointed it out once again, you defended me in my first game to try and gain the trust of a townie. You've done the same for ABC, and I believe it to be for the same reason. I think despite your claim otherwise, you do want ABC lynched and you're trying to have a deadline instituted to rush people into finishing him off instead of taking the closer look at you."

His reaction was very troubling. The way he seemed resigned to being the lynch bothered me, but then he actually defended himself. The attitude is something I'd expect regardless of alignment.

Btw, using your logic and judging from your vote post. Your main arguements are just vague points, one of which being completely subjective.

I'm still going to go back and expand my case on you, as well as take another look at Heph. But this HoS of yours further demonstrates the issues I've already indicated. This reads like an artificial arguement to me. You clearly didn't look over the interaction with Heph and I as you said you were going to. That or you've intentionally left things out to make me look bad. One of the things you missed is in a post that you've already quoted, once again displays that you aren't observing things.

OK I was all set to vote Heph after his tirade, but the very same post made Linkzmax unvote, so maybe not...

And apparently I'm illiterate?

you seem to do a lot of the "ah ok then i'll do it too" so FoS FF

(I fos you for not voting me, that's smart of me ^^)

Besides that, you noticed noname said "Scum" are illiterate or lazy, so what you said is basically a confession...

this is missing a ? after lazy

WHAT?  How could a question mark possibly belong there?  You are doing something wrong.  Please figure out what and tell us.  It doesn't matter TOO much, as your conclusion is still incredibly wrong, but I am curious.

Besides that, you noticed noname said "scum" are illiterate or lazy?

so what you said is basicaly a confession

(and I guess a little smiley at the end would help you see it was mostly a joke interpretation of your reply... but I guess i'm the only one reading it that way :-/ )

Argh hate how I hate myself now for again not being here to fullfill my duty as a towny and that I want to go to sleep right now... I will try to find some time tomorrow to catch up to page 18 and 19 (i read to 17 now) and then I hope to find even more time to do what I promised to do...

Haha, no. I just let you guys know because it's a sudden disappearance that I have no control over.(Btw, it's volunteer even!)

I know you're joking, but my real life has no influence on the alignment nor role I'm assigned, and I'll never take votes or even a lynch as a personal thing. Scratch that, anyone that votes, lynches, or night kills me is a firefighter-hater! :P

I think that discussion is genuinely coming to a conclusion now, so I'm going to second that vote: time-limit

just so you know you are the 4th :P

Methinks your point that radish may not be "new and improved" after all is a valid one.

Though I hate to vote for Heph when it's day one and he waited all of last game to play this one, I can't shake the feeling that he's scum.

Vote: Hephaestos

well end of day does call for a vote, no hard feeling don't worry.

4A) You said you "thought that he could try the tactict of latter trying to say he has a role that is odd or unsusual." If you're 100% sure he's scum(and that would definitely mean we'd be lynching you next) then that's okay, otherwise any doubt in your mind means he could actually be a townie with an odd or unusual role. You're right that if it turns out to be the case then it's stupid of him, but that doesn't mean he should be made into an example either.

5) Vote or not, you're definitely fishing for everyone's thoughts. That's a point that's already been argued. As for you having decided already, I didn't get that impression from your posts.

4A. I am confident he's scum.  So I figuer anything that he could do that would be hinting at something more is him up to no good.  Now if he does have a roll he shouldn't be hinting.  It makes him a more likely target of a night kill.  The fact that it makes you have doubts about lynching him or those that supsect him make me feel that he is scum useing it to hide.  If he did have a roll I figure he would only come out if he were about to be lynched.  Otherwise there is no need for it.  If he does get close to being lynched and roleclaims then I would take my vote off him but keep both eyes on him and the results of the night.

5. if there is something wrong with wanting everyoens thoughts. I'd like to know what is is?  If you give me a reason for why it's so wrong maybe I'll change how I play.  If not I plan on continuing with wanting more opinions.

Go back even further with my posts. Back to when I answered Nonames question about who we would vote.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=3916819  I think that's pretty clear that there isn't much that could happen to stop me from voting Heph.  However if I find people who vote fasts suspicious for not talking the points out it would be very hypocritical of me to rush my vote.  It was pretty obvious it was coming however I did give heph a chance to talk first.

4A) Are you confirming you're 100% sure he's scum? I agree there shouldn't have been a hint if he does in fact have a role, but I just feel like the case should've been made(since you did state you were already planning on voting Heph, I will concede that) without bringing that up. After that, your logic doesn't make sense. If you figured he'd claim when about to be lynched, then you should just wait for that to happen. Additionally, if you were planning to unvote in the event of a claim then your suspicions aren't as strong after all. It certainly doesn't reinforce your notion that having doubts about lynching him makes him scum using that doubt to hide.

I'm leaning more and more towards my initial thought that you jumped on it because you did think it was a hint at a role and wanted to get that information one way or another.

5) Sorry, I didn't actually make the implication with that point. I think you're fishing for people's thoughts so you can latch on to the ones you can use.
