I twisted your words by saying you meant "regular town role" in order to protect you until the final day.

You see, you had to die no matter what. I was getting tired of everyone pushing for your lynch when in all possibility, you actually were a cop.

Give you 2 investigations, that's it. If we don't hit a mafia by final day, you're getting lynched. I don't see why it's so hard to understand these things. You were either a cop, or a mafia. Either way you're dead.

And trash, the way you played cop is off because, you see, you need to be able to CLEAR people without any suspiciousness, not just point out the people you investigated as mafia.

You FoS some number of people.

During the night, you investigate one of them. Based on how they pass, you either drop your FoS, or upgrade to an HoS. The same can be done on different scales by HoSing people and downgrading or upgrading to a vote.

This isn't done just simply like, "i don't suspect that person anymore", but something like, "(quoted post), it's really starting to appear that X isn't mafia, (or that X is the ringleader)...these other two seem less suspicious (or more, or whatever) than before, but I can't help thinking that there is something still going on"

You make a definite call about someone, but leave it open enough that it's not definite.

Also, to people who are questioning my "cop tell". Let me clarify. The cop tell that I revealed is a "bad cop-tell". It's a cop tell by a player who is going to get night-killed.

You do not ever push for a lynch, and you do not ever clear anyone. You wait until you die, and then your suspicions or clearances can be used, because town can never be sure that you are neither a mafia, nor an insane cop. And hinting at your role or evidence is by far the worst thing you can do.

But, you did pretty well even so. This is more of a write up for future cops, and to address questions about how a cop "should" play.

So operation distract the town would have worked if we had another mafia to help out? We killed FF instead of you because we hoped that you'd still be on our side, and killing final-fan would have gotten you and trash to argue.

Like I said, it's hard to say whether or not it would've been better if trash hadn't been so opportunistic about it. It was because of her playing cautiously that reinforced that feeling. Saying things like, "I've not said anything suspicious", and the whole 192 posts thing. It was definitely a wrench in teh machine.

You were always going to be dead on final day, so I just ignored you, the people that stood out most to me were stefl noname and linkz. Nonam and linkz for "moving around the groups", and stefl for non-participation.

Lol. I meant I want in the next round, but wouldn't mind a break too much. Expect less links from Linkz(lol) as I doubt I'll be rereading as much. It's certainly interesting trying to figure things out from the sidelines though.
