Forums - Gaming - This is how to sabotage the opposing consoles

Let's say you're a Nintendo fanboy and wants to sabotage PS3 and Xbox360.

You should spend as much as you can and buy all the opposing consoles.

This way, you'll stiffle the software sales since you don't be buying any of their games.

When the publishers see that they can't sell software, they'll flock to your console of choice.

You'll also have to convince your fellow fanboys to do the same. Strenght in numbers, remember.

This technique is super effective when the opposing console is being sold at a loss. ie: PS3 released at $250 loss. So, the more console you buy, the more they loses they get.

Now, go, fanboys, and buy up all the opposing consoles.

I've got a much more effective way to do that, but it must remain secret or it might not work anymore.

Instead of paying an average of $ 250 for console of the company you want to sabotage, just make a $80 deposit in my bank account.

There you are. Cheaper and more effective.

I assure you with excellent results.

go for it man, when they find out the console you bought got no software sold for it the publishers will go running for the hills

If you stop and think about it, Sony did.

A group of subjects (from now on, The Group) bought the console and the games for an amount of money. Let's just pretend it was for $800. Afterwards, The Group sold all of it to you, NiKKoM, at total of $600 dollars.

In this fictional case, we could state that:

Sony, Developers and intermediates received $800, of which NikkoM paid $600 and The Group only $200. It is irrelevant that The Group got to play the games before. They paid less money, not to keep the hardware and the software, but to use it first, to what NiKKoM happily agreed.

Stating that Sony won't get your money because you buy used is like saying that they won't get money out of any console or game sold in a store. They are intermediates too, just as The Group.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
