Nintendo is a conservative company, they probably didn't want to bother much penetrating these "insignifcant" places, and just focus on main terrritories.  Sony has this advantage over the others, they are a hardware company, the others are really software.  They should take advantage, as they are in China and Brazil.

I don't think Nintendo would think selling 3 million units of something as insignificant =/
Nintendo isn't that arrogant or poorly run.

I think it's because Nintendo can't leverage their popular gaming icons like Mario in countries that don't have generations of gamers that grew up playing those games.

Looks like PS3 could continue this dominance in Europe with Killzone 3 and a new exclusive coming almost every month.

Its the US vs the world again. I love you America but there was no WMD's and the 360 is not better than the PS3 nor does Kinect make it a better option for families than the Wii. 

Last Year 360 had the best software and deserved to be number 1

This Year it cannot compete with the PS3 in software so it should be number 2 or 3 depending on how you feel about the Wiis lineup so start buying it like that.

PS3 beat the wii in the uk and was 2000 behind 360 so not much difference in uk

its a shame we can't see breakdown in the charts now and see top 30 for each platform,it was my favourite thing in the site,how will we know anything now

i guess we have to argue about hardware sales more if thats possible,more bans incoming -_-

i hope they give us some holiday treats sometime and open it up to us occaisionally,like a pressie for old time sake
