Forums - Sales - EMEAA UP!!

43k drop YoY for the Wii is just too much. I seriously don't know anymore what can Nintendo do to prevent further slides. Plus their line-up in Europe is pretty barren so far. Perhaps after 3DS releases, they will give life signs for the Wii, but until it releases, we will be in the dark and sales will sink even more.

I think they want to focus on 3DS now. Nintendo now knows when Wii sells, the holidays. They will try to capitalize on the holidays as huuuuuuuuuuge sales in the holidays can make up for mediocre sales during the rest of the year.

On another note I think dead space 2 is going to have close to 150,000 sales on each system. Good for them. I hope that it will have good legs. Great game.

Is xbox 360 still having shortages in EMEAA?  They are around me and from the other thread it seems to be the same all over.

Umm, the 360 never really had shortages in EMEAA, it's just not as popular here (except for UK). In the US it probably still has shortages.

OT:
PS3 is looking really good, LBP2 also has good numbers, nice.

What can they do, neither the PS3 without the price cut or the Xbox 360 without the Slim model could have been saved, and were consoles with effort from third parties. Nintendo can cut the price and nothing more, colours and bundles were used in Christmas and look were Wii is now.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

It has been Kinect for a while, if you want to insult the 360 at least do it right

Even if there were shortages, it wouldn't make much of a difference. UK is a big part of EMEAA, but it doesn't really matter because the 360 is selling worse than the Wii and PS3 almost everywhere in continental Europe, well... and the rest of EMEAA is Sony land anyway because of obvious reasons.

The situation of the 360 in EMEAA is similar to the situation of the PS3 in Americas.
