It's an interesting notion

If PS3 passes PS3 WW, but 360 sells more than PS3 in all the countries they're BOTH sold in, which is the more "popular" console

DUDE!  We think SO much alike sometimes because I was going to type almost the same thing word for word, LOL!

that would create a rip in the fabric of the universe and it will happen in 2012.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

You think like a cool guy!!

That said it's impossible for PS3 to pass PS3 WW ^^ dunno why I make silly typos like that.

However the ps3 is selling more than the 360 in more countries, where both are available. The preferred meme of xbox fans is "we got 2 of the 3 bigger markets".

However this "Sony-is-stuffing-the-channel-because-it-delivers-ps3s-in-a-lot-of-countries" is quite delusional. It takes less time to ship a ps3 from Italy or Austria to Croatia (and this requires to cross a third country) than from East Coast to West Coast in the US: so the equation "more countries == longer shipping channels == more units in the channel" is wrong. Plain and simple.

Eh, another blantant alt. You have Zero proof, and given that they shipped exactly the same amount last Q, and 360 is still ahead of PS3, then no, PS3 is not selling the same amount in all the countrys 360 ships too combined. Nice, very easy to debunk your post

Given the stats above, I'll make it easier for you to understand

Q4 - Xbox 360 - 6.3 mill in 35 - 40 odd countries.
Q4 - PS3 - 6.3 in 55 - 60 odd countires

I was saying: the ps3 beats the 360 in more countries (where both are available). That is: the number of countries where the ps3 is selling better is bigger than the number of countries where the xbox is selling better*. The concept of more "popular" is very relative.

*Counting only the countries where both are available, obviously.
