Can't say I would be looking forward to play any Gears game anyway.

PS3 has plenty of shooters as it is.

Now Mass Effect 2 was something else.

It was clearly a game with no equivalent on the PS3 that was missing in the PS3 lineup...



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Apart from sales, total number of hours played online and if you average the franchises metacritic scores across the series it loses in that metric too.  There are many other ways the Gears franchise is superior to Uncharted but even one disposes you rather sad view of "in every way".

Personally I like both franchises for diffferent reasons, the campaign in Uncharted is better, the online in Gears wipes the floor with Uncharted. 

None of those things have anything to do with the actual game though

Agreed, They definitely paid for Gears to be exclusive. 

Some people call it "payments" when M$ does it, and "developmental partnerships" when other console makers do it...

lol developmental partnership just sounds weird. I'm not trying to knock MS here, it was a smart move getting Gears to be exclusive. 

How would you describe the Resistance franchise, for example ofcourse...


Microsofts relationship with Epic is in now way the same as Insomniac and Sony. Insomniac by choice has been loyal to Sony's platform for three generations. Sony could buy them, but they don't have to and I've seen interviews a while back talking about such situations as this. Insomniacs games are like unofficial second party. With Epic they are still making multiplatform titles. Insomniac has been making exclusives for Sony since 1996. Theres no real subtration that needs to be done to find the difference.

Ok, the weapons are better, the cover systems better and the multiplayer wipes the floor with Uncharted 2.  Care for me to carry on naming stuff thats better in Gears, it really isn't hard to disprove a silly statement like " uncharted>>>gears(in evey single way)" but knock yourself out fella.  Are you seriously backing up his stamenet, really????

No I just hate it when people quote sales when arguing the quality of a game

People still care about Gears on ps3? I thought everyone who wanted to play it already got a 360 by now wow. Dudes are patient.
