This argument again?  SE themselves said they didn't cut ANYTHING from the game because they launched it on 360.  If it would have never come out on 360 and been PS3 exclusive it still would've been the exact same game that we ended up getting.

OT:  Demon Souls was awesome and I'm sure Dark Souls will be too.  Great for 360 only owners but I'm for sure picking it up on PS3.

yea didn't the guy actually say that development on the game was a bit of a mess with a lack of direction and that they made 8GB worth of content that didn't fit into the game and that was why it had to be cut?

You never know, they could have a crazy feature that blocks it while playing. I wouldn't be shocked if they did that, at all. They made sure they didn't have Voice Chat on Demons Souls on PS3 to add difficulty and to keep you on your toes online.

No they can't physically block party chat since it has nothing to do with the game...as far as I know it can't legally be done.


It can be done, and if I remember correctly, like mantlepiecek stated. MW2 blocked Party-Chat while playing multiplayer. A lot of people made a big fuss over it.

well ...Demons Souls  only has 5,75 gb  ..'' this clone'' will have the same insurance..

Um... Modern Warfare 2 blocked party chat in certain game types. They could block Party Chat if they spoke to MS about it and gave them good reasoning.



It's just that simple.

Yeah, I did just compare Mass Effect and Demon's Souls. DS really was THAT good.

It didn't technically block it...it would kick you out of the game lobby if you were in a party, so I suppose they could end the game if you were joined a party.

Demon's Souls was just amazing ! I hope Dark Souls will as good. The first time I see it I didn't believe that it was Japanese on development.
