Assuming that there is patent infringement on Sony's part of LG's technology, what's going to happen is that Sony is going to offer LG royalies for every PS3 sold. Then, you'll have LG pushing PS3 sales. You heard it here first!

Nah, not only Panasonic. Check out the Goldstar 3DO (and while you're at it, the Samsung Saturn).
Why would LG want the PS3 banned? If they win the case then they will get royalties for every PS3 sold.
