I just asked a simple question and then you went on a "your trying to make 360 look bad" tangent.  Your the one that brought console exclusives in when I clearly asked what these exclusive games you were talking about. The other answered my inquiry, no problem. You know what??? Screw it, they did asked which 7th gen CONSOLE was the best so i guess PCs shouldnt be mentioned here at all

Mainly because the online content (XBLA, XBLI) was so beyond fantastic this gen. Often overlooked, it provided me with so much content, I had no real reason to buy a PS3 or Wii. It had Netflix first (which saves me $50/mo), the most demos, and hundreds of great downloadable games.

Certainly imperfect, but I was happier with my 360 purchase than I was last gen (got an Xbox), and the generation before (N64).

This was the only generation where I owned all 3 consoles. And Im about to make a new PC so that would mke it my 4th gaming device. From my experience I believe the PS3 is the best of the 3. Even though I think PS3 is the best I have played the 360 the most this generation, mostly because i bought it first and games like halo, gears, etc. Most of multiplayer is also done on the 360. BUt imo PS3 is still better as a whole. PS3 exclusive games give you a nice variety that both wii fans and 360 fans would enjoy. I believe the wii fans would mostly enjoy mario, zelda type games. While 360 fans would enjoy gears/halo games. PS3 has a great library that includes games for nintendo fans such as lbp, mnr, etc. And for the 360 fans it has killzone, socom, resistance etc. On top of that the ps3 has its own games to make it shince such as uncharted, heavy rain, demons souls, etc. (these are games that the competing consoles dont realy have to match). Overall the PS3 system is a better system (hardware wise). Sure to some blu ray is not needed but it is always good to have it there especially f it is the same price as the 360. Also you are not forced to pay subscription to "unlock" the other portion of your game. So these were my thoughts.

I'll say obviously you're all talking about personal preference, idiots are the ones who have argued in this thread.

I have all 3 consoles and i play my wii by far the most and my 360 at a close second if i wanna play with frieds and family the wii is extremley fun if im alone i play 360 alot both are great but i hardly ever touch my ps3the blu ray sucks and games are awful internet sucks too

Not a very surprising result given the apparent majority of PS3 fans who populate this site. But clearly the masses have cast their vote this generation and Wii is regarded as best over all.

I voted PS3 of course, because it's the only console I own. Which is a self imposed restriction.

Just look at the amount of NEW games recently released or coming in the next few weeks (1rst and 3rd party support) for each console and decide.

read what you want into it, all i simply said is that we were talking about 360, wii and ps3. When exlcusive is mentioned it is talking about those few. Even in my list I mentioned a few. I don't know what your issue is.

7th gen is about the whole gen so you would have to take every game into account not just the most recent. The older ones still exist.
