Forums - Nintendo - So what exactly is the 3DS launch day line up?

I'd like to know too, I preordered a 3DS but the none of the games from the Japanese launch lineup appeal to me at all. I do hope we'll get some different games here in the West. I'd take Pilotwings!

3ds equals new psp one joystick console ports just with 3d the  system is a step backwards every game announced is a inferior port. not worth 250 maybe 200 because of 3d.

EDIT: This post has been moderated for trolling. -d1

I too am frustrated by the lack of knowledge. I would say Pilotwings is probably a given for Western day 1, as is SS43D and Nintendogs/Cats (damn lack of plus sign. Is this ever getting fixed?). I think Tecmo-Koei was gunning for having DoA:D ready for Western Day 1, as well

Either way, i'll probably just pick up Pokemon Black/White and hang out with my 3DS in Japan for a while. Pilotwings or Dead or Alive if Pilotwings isn't there. Steel Diver could be worth a look too (it's like a modern-day NES game: take a random, simple concept and expand it into a game.), and Steel Diver will likely make a presence as well

But as for any straight confirmations, we're just gonna have to wait

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'm pretty sure this qualifies as trolling.

Did you even read the question in the OP?

And it's been dealt with, so I'd say let sleeping trolls lie.

As for the topic, even Nintendo's site isn't too helpful on it. The only one I'm seeing dates for is the Japanese launch; link to the page is http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/software/index.html

-On a quest for the truly perfect game; I don't think it exists...

You still have quite a bit of time until launch to figure out what you want to buy :P

Having said that I think SSFIV 3D Edition, DoA: Dimensions, Pilotwings Resort, Rayman 3D and Lego Star Wars III are the meatiest games you'll be able to buy on launch day.

I'll be picking up Pilotwings and a third party game probably.. Although I really want Steel Diver I'm kinda doubting that it'll hit on launch day..

I wouldn't take this as 100% confirmation.. I can see Steel Diver being pushed back, as well as RE: Mercs not being ready just yet..
