Say huh???  Who's crying over that here???  And who cried over it in the past???  I don't remember ever seeing that on this site to be completely honest.

I'm waiting until it hits about $20 to $30 and I'll probably pick it up then. My past experiences with the Mass Effect universe have not been very positive and I have a feeling that I will have a similar experience with the second game, even though it is highly praised, but I do enjoy spending money and I'll have to add it to my collection.

Also, the people saying that Mass Effect is so good that anyone that isn't playing it is a fool (I changed the words a bit) are pretty silly. I'm sure Mass Effect is nice for all you Sci Fi fans that love playing space marines on a mission to save the galaxy, but I've never really liked Sci Fi and so Mass Effect doesn't have that nerdgasm impact on me and I'm guessing many other people feel the same way. That means it then has to rely on it's gameplay, which seems to be weakest part of the whole series. I don't expect everyone to like Fallout 3, even though I know it's an amazing game, the same thing applies to Mass Effect 2.

Not that many people to be honest, I was really referring to one guy in particular, the one with the Thor avatar.  As for MS, I dont buy that its too expensive thing one bit, SOny does, Ninty has BEEN doing it, Its not like MS is hurting for money. I think if your in the console buisness and your depending too much on 3rd party, it'll bite you in the bum eventually, you wanna get your 1st party devs going ASAP IMHO

@Doobie wop  i feel that exact same way about medieval type games, got tired of the whole dungeons & dragons setting, one of the reasons I avoided Dragon Age, but its made by Bioware so ill try it eventually

I'm going to disagree with the people that say ME2 is just an average game that was overhyped.

I only have a PS3 and I have purchased around 45 PS3 titles so far this gen and Mass Effect 2 is easilly in my top 5 for the gen for PS3.

This is a great game....

As for sales I don't think EA is disappointed. The whole purpose of releasing ME2 now was to boost awareness of the franchise on PS3 to prepare for the simultaneous release of ME3 on the 360 and the PS3....

As for the price I don't feel personally I was ripped off, it's totally worth the 60$ I spent on it...

But if EA isn't happy with sales they can kick themselves. They dropped the price of ME2 on the PC and the 360 way too early and as a reason some customers expect the same thing to happen on the PS3 

A U$60 game, one year later and you can buy on two other machines for 20 bucks. What did you expect? This reminds me of another year old port that people were calling a bomba awhile ago but it looks like it'll end up being a million seller.

I remember seeing a thread about some guy who said his friend freaked when it happened back when I was still lurking, I don't know if there was any crying involved but the story was remotely entertaining 

@topic people know the game is going to drop in price fast, they waited a year what's a few more weeks, the game should of launched at 40 with all the DLC not 60

the expansions are still costly. $39.99  would have been a better launch price.
