So...in essence, it's the opposite of a bomb? Nice. Those sales are well-deserved for the best Sonic game in years

Nice Post.
It marks a rise for the franchise, which is a good sign, a hit for sure!
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
while not a smashing success i can't imagine they haven't turned a profit by now which in my own definition means calling it a bomb is impossible.
I wonder what the budget for Sonic Colors was. Sonic is a large franchise, but after the relative downturn in sales of The Black Knight and Unleashed, I wonder if Sega was a bit more conservative with the budget for Colors. If so, then I would assume that Colors has turned a profit. I haven't had a chance to go out and buy it yet, but it looks amazing.
Nah, it should eventually reach a million, and for my money, any game that reaches a million can't be considered a bomb.
it hasnt even been 3 full months yet, wait and see
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/287223/news/vanquish-sells-820000-copies/
"The company sold 13.6 million games worldwide in the three quarters,* down from 16.73 million a year ealier.
Sonic Colours moved 1,850,000 copies, Vanquish 820,000 and Football Manager 2011 690,000."
Mind you, that's not only shipped rather than sold, but it's probably split between the Wii and DS versions too.
*Note: excludes anything after December

Unless the game cost something like $30 million. Shenmue cost $70 million, sold over a million, and still lost money. The thing is that games that can't make a profit selling a million are getting more common these days (but not on the Wii, and they claim that is more of a risk).
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
I think next xmas wil be good for this game then well see some good sonic legs.
I'm confused as to why I'm hearing Sega Sammy announced Sonic Colours has sold over 1.8-million copies but VGChartz has it at 600K? I was just talking to a Sega fan andhe laughed at me when I said it only sold 600K. He gave me this link.
