Okay, filled was maybe a bit overkill, but they're definitely going to be there. And I predict no other game will be anyway. ;P

No, compared to the current form of the genre, filled is correct. The whole process of combat is going to be more intuitive, interesting, and "realistic". The fact that they're stressing mobility is sooo key to those ideas.

Yeah, definitely "filled" compared to WoW and all the other MMOs, and yeah, this is by far the most interesting MMO combat I've seen yet.

Wall of text. Can someone sum it up, the imprtant part of how GW2 revoluzinizes MMO?

It's just combat we're talking about here, but still. You really should read the OP if you're interested, it's much better than what I have written here.

No one has to take on specific roles (healer, tank, etc.) because of the class verasility, every class can do every play style. Everyone has to bring a healing skill, which means everyone have a fair chance of healing themselves. And since everyone can revive eachother, combat doesn't stall because you're downed, as you can quickly get back up into the fight.

Buffs in GW2 are called boons. None of these boons stack in effect, but if you buff someone with a boon they already have, the time is added to it so it lasts longer, instead of your buff just being wasted. And there are no skills that target allies, so you have to watch your allies more carefully, so you can move in and protect them when they need it.

Skills are also useful in many situations. A skill like Wall of Deflection, can be used to defend allies when retreating, or push into enemy lines, not to mention for countering a strong enemy attack if cast right. There is more focus on players being able to move around and physically finding cover.

That's cheating. I hate how in shooters you respawn after just 40 seconds or so. Dying has almost no consequences.

In DAOC death was serious. In large battles you could get revived but you were in bad health. Usually death meant you lost 20-25 minutes since you were respawned miles away.

Anyways u written before how many good elements Gw2 brings, evolution to MMOPRSgs, so Im not bashing the game, I just wanted to comment on that particular thing. I think its gonna be a great MMO for those people who have time to dedicate on MMOs.

It's not exactly cheating if it's designed that way. Guild Wars 2 is designed to keep you on your toes and keep the action going, while still encouraging players to experiment and try new things. Thus death isn't as bad in GW2 as it is elsewhere.
