Great news: THE LAST STORY has opened at roughly around 158k for its opening weekend (that's only three days). No other game this week has reached that amount. It is, without question, going to be the top game for next week's sale charts and arguably the biggest opening of any Mistwaker title, if their past performances are any indication. Congratulations Sakaguchi-san. You and your team have earned it.

Or at least that's what the Japan Preview says.  We'll see what the charts tell us next week.

Too bad it was sold out day1 or it might have done even better - really small initial shipment - not even everyone who preordered it got their copy

Do these numbers inculde the second shipment?

Hopefully this assures us a western release and The Last Story II.

The report of the first shipment been sold out came from a neogaf user. And supposedly the first shipmment was 120K so if that is true the numbers would include a second shipment.

I'm not saying it won't be, for all we know VC could end up selling more and all the reports about TLS selling this or that could be wrong, but it is not ncessarily close, for the simple reason that as far as I understand, COMG data is based on a number of stores with a bias for PS sales (I don't mean bias as in opinion, I mean that the sales n those stores are more PS oriented, not necessarily in line with other stores).

Oh wow. I underprdicted and said it'd do 137k first week, big mistake from me :P
