This has probably been posted before but I'm going to keep this OP up to date with all the latest info that points towards this and any leaked game reveals.

So as you can tell from the article, a 2nd wave of games are likely to release in April, probably up to June just before E3. With GDC happening Feb 28th, it's likey this is when we'll start hearing about these games, as well as anything else Kinect orientated.

So far these are the games coming out for Kinect rumoured/confirmed for april and some that are likely to be part of this 2nd wave.

Michael Jackson: The Experience (Confirmed)
Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do (Confirmed)
Child of Eden (Confirmed)
Kinectalloons (Confirmed)

SSX: Kinect (Rumoured) - 1, 2
Lips: Kinect (Rumoured) - 1
Sims: Kinect (Rumoured) - 1

Gears of War: Exile (Rumoured) - 1

Although Gears would be a core Kinect game, more than likely to be revealed at E3 with the other core kinect titles .. more than likely due to launch June - November, we could see this Gears in April so it doesn't clash with Gears 3.

Avatar Kinect will also be available in "Spring" - Ballmer says that Avatar Kinect will be available for Xbox Live Gold members only this Spring and comes with fifteen stages.

I'm confused by the term "core" game

Why?

Gears, Halo, all those Japanese titles announced, those are what I mean by Core.

Really? Do tell...

According to what I've seen, Child of Eden has been delayed until June 14. 

And what about the wave of Kinect games coming in February?  Are we to understand that Dr. Kawashima, Dance Paradise, and Brunswick Bowling are chop liver?

I don't mean Kinect has no core games. 

I just don't what "core" means anymore. I used to have my own definition of it but then I realized it didn't make sense.

They can ride the waive for a month or two more, but then people will want more software...so the sooner the better.

I hope Gears Kinect is an on rails thing, if they mess with Gears 3 with that, I'm passing on it.

I hope I don't have to do an even gayer wave to activate Kinect in the future from April.

It's ok, and understandable. I guess by core I mean games that might appeal to the COD crowd, and casual is Carnival Games ..

A large number of COD players aren't what I would call core gamers...
