Forums - Nintendo - Up close and personal: Zelda Ocarina looks lovely on 3DS

If you can skip the cut scenes, I'll consider this. That or if the Master Quest is included. Definitely want if both are there. If neither, I have my Zelda Collector's Edition.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Yeah master quest would be great to have with it. Never completed the GC version.

But my guess is that they will not :(

I actually made a thread about this a while ago. Most people seemed to disagree with me though and claimed it looked only marginally better than the N64 version.  -_-'

Did you have clear pics like these in it?

No, because it was soon after the original announcement, but the pics I did post were official ones from Nintendo and anyone with half a brain could clearly see how much better it looked.

I disagree. We see with our eyes, not brain. Maybe the real problem is we're looking with our brains :

That's not really true, you need your brain to interpret what you're seeing. Without your brain, you can't know what you're seeing. So I guess that was the problem, that people weren't using their brains.

Exactly my point. We process the data different with our brains. Hence, the problem.

In other words, we see what we want to see.

Looks nice, but as already mentioned it's not exactly pushing the 3DS hardware.  I wonder why Nintendo would rerelease one of their greatest hits and only marginally improve the graphics?  I'm guessing that these screens are from an early version of the game.

That is much more than a marginal improvement.

A low-level Gamecube game looks absurdly better than anything the N64 put out. Christ, the textures alone...

The 3DS can do better than that.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

considering the fact that I was more than content with the graphics being an exact port from the N64, I'm really happy with this.

the game was amazing with N64 graphics, so I couldn't care too much.

The textures look a lot cleaner and it actually looks like it's been completely remodeled.  Those scenes were pre-rendered in the N64 original.

I'm glad that the house interiors are in real time now, that was one of the main improvements I wanted

though this isnt pushing the 3DS hardware, it still looks way better, and i still want the game. master quest would be a major plus, but i doubt it.
