I wouldn't want a 3DS lite. I want 3DSXL!

Well of course nintendo would say that they are not going to make a better version before it releases. It would cut their sales. Now in the other hand , the 3DS seems to be as small as a DSi so i doubt they can really make it that much smaller to warrant a revision in a couple of years. Maybe 4 years from now we can see something as technology progresses. I could see them making one with bigger screens but that came late during the DS life so i would guess it would be the same case here.

Well, they sure need to fix the battery life some time.

They will not do a light they will do a heavy this time. It will be bigger and more expensive

It doesn't need to be smaller...

Just different and with even better, sleeker design. And a plain wide sweetspot.

I bet the next model will improve battery life. But I don't expect anew model till 2013!

I don't expect there to be one. I expect the first revision will be a 3DS XL.
