ME2 has PSN version... maybe people are preferring to buy that version to retail one (like me).

LMAO

That's just nonsense.  Admit it... you just make this stuff up don't you?

UK ME2 prices:

Retail: £39.99  (you can re-sell it, trade it...)

Download: £47.99   (you can... er... delete it)   £47.99!!!!!  lol.  its a fucking rip off.

You have to be pretty silly to buy the download.

Please ethomaz (and carl) don't try and tell me anyone other than those locked up for their own safety actually bought this on PSN...  please?

All the people i know who bought PSN did it with friends sharing cost onto 4-5 people ;)

Nice week, very good LBP2, very good mid-short term legs for Kinect (excellent ones in America, from decent to good elsewhere), Nintendo wins on HW.  BTW, after many weeks, Wii Fit Plus is in the top ten again also in America.

360 fans still hurting about losing Mass Effect's faux exclusivity I see. =)

I'm pissed at no large expansion...and the game is now dead.  I'm pissed that most of the DLC was utter garbage, when we were promised great stuff.  A million sales to 88K...you do the math.  BTW...how does this ratio compare to FF13, which was delayed onto the 360?

FF13 released the same day on both consoles everywhere but Japan. There, the PS3 version sold 1.5 million compared 8k (yes, 8) on the 360. That's a ratio of over 150:1. I don't see how this helps your argument. =)

Nothing...just that the "best" version of ME2 mangement to sell 88K in it's first week...do you think it will reach 500K LTD?

Yes.

xbox 360 and ps3 close again. And good first week for lbp

I am surprised that everyone thinks that 500k for LBP2 is a great success?  I would have thought that they are pretty disappointed with sack boy over at Sony again.  They were disappointed with the originals #'s(not devastated).  They have to have been hoping for closer to 800k  for this one.  I am not saying 500k is bad, but easily short of what they hoped.  I am not a fan or a hater for LBP, but i was hoping that the PS3 would have atleast one system seller/system defining title.  Maybe Uncharted 3 will break out...

Were they disappointed? I thought they were very pleased with how well it sold.

As for a system seller/system defining title, look no further than Gran Turismo 5 and Metal Gear Solid 4.

So, back when LBP1 came out, it was all over the place how it was going to be a monster hit and a massive system seller for the PS3.  But after it came out, it was a middling success, just like LBP2 looks to be.

Now, as for GT5 and MGS4.... your kidding right?

Sure, GT5 is selling good(not as good as they hoped either), but is it defining the PS3?  I doubt it.  Just a good title.

I can agree that MGS4 probably moved systems- I bought the MGS4 PS3 when it came out.  but it doesn't define the PS3.  Like Halo does for the 360 or Mario does for the Wii/Nintendo systems.  But it is about as close as we get so far....

PS3 is defined by its variety, not by a single franchise.

Wait what, when did Sony ever said something about how they expect GT5 to sell? Link please?

Or you extrapolated the fact the they shipped 5.5M, and it still didn't sell that amount, because if it's the case then it's really a good idea.
