^^^thats an interesting way of putting it, i agree with the OP that they just didnt want it to get killed by 3DS, Crysis 2 etc.

I would love to believe it! Every time Conduit 2 is delayed my suspicion of a delay, canning, bump to next gen for grinder is heightened. 

I'm not saddened by the news IF this doesn't hurt The Grinder(be it quality or release wise).

Idealy I'd want Conduit 2 April, Zelda May, Grinder Halloween, Pikmin 3 November.  If this happens I'd consider this the second best year for the wii after 2010.  

Socom 4 is probably more comparable gameplay wise, but Portal 2 should be an even greater concern.  Portal 2 releases on  April 18th (valve..take with a grain of salt) and will be available for 360, PS3, and PC. Of course maybe I'm downplaying a franchise I don't really care for :b

SOCOM is not exactly threatening competition for Conduit 2. The last PS3 one just managed to limp past 1m.

Other than the slight spinoffs and mods, when has a  valve release not been huge?  It'll be a giant on PS3 and PC.  HVS made the correct decision I think, but either way they're facing tough competition.

I feel for Sega, even if this game does actually turn out good their is so much competition its retarded, just on PS3 only their is just too much crap I want, then you 360 and PSP is even putting out their last fumes and 3DS. I hope that we dont have a Red Steel situation where people just dont bother.

I remember the first delay, when was the second?  Oh well.  I may pick it up at some point.  My list to buy is just so large right now.
