It's a good read through and through. But the main points (that haven't already been posted) are this:
- They know that just making the console experience portable (i.e. the PSP) was not good enough, and they're improving that with the NGP.
- Sony would rather not take a loss on the hardware.
- All games will be available digitally, and some games with physical media as well.
- Direct online play over 3G might be difficult, will vary on a game by game basis.
- There are no plans for 3D on the NGS.
- Developers love how easy the NGP is to create games for.
- Neither Sony nor the game publishers they talk to think that simply porting console games to handhelds is dissatisfactory for consumers, and as such don't find it a viable business strategy.
Good read and good news all in all.
