Of course we can expect the price to be high, but he didn't say Sony wouldn't take a loss on it either. He just said they'd rather not, which leads me to believe that Sony may be reado to take a small hit on the hardware at launch, and that they're shooting for a price close to the point of breaking even, but may not be achievable in the time frame. My guess would be $299 for the cheapest version, and a few more SKUs from there.
What makes you think there'll be a tablet version though?
