Why are so many people saying that they are becoming less and less interested in the 3DS?
NGP certainly looks awesome in terms of hardware, but 3DS has a seriously awesome list of games coming out (not all at launch). The 3DS isn't nearly as kiddy as the DS was. Check out this list of announced games:

The NGP doesn't really have that much announced game-wise yet-- so my excitement is definitely with the 3DS right now. This is especially true for 3 reasons:
1. Nintendo 1st party games
2. 3DS games will almost certainly be cheaper. If NGP games are PS3-level, does that mean they will cost $60?
3. 3DS has managed to wrangle away many of the best developers from the PSP that completely ignored the DS.

Because after initial enthusiasm i felt during E3 every next news was cold shower
1. Battery Life
2. region locking
3. technical specification on the level of current day smartphone
4. constant network connections without my control
5. insane game and hardware pricing (if you find good sale price you can get PS3 for less than Nintendo Poland wants)
For me 3DS is not worth more than 180$ at the moment considering i'm only interested in Zelda and Atlus Devil Survivor at the moment.
On the other hand NGS looks lot more atractive
- amazing control options - dual analogs, gyroscopes (i learned to apreciate what they can do through gaming on my android), touchscreen and most importantly touchpad on the back which brings promises of using all the touchscreen goodness without your finger blocking half the screen
- amazing OLED screen
- trophies
- insane power under the hood - CPU twice as powerfull as high end smartphones that enter production today, GPU 4 times more powerfull than Iphone 4 (which already beats 3DS graphic wise with epic citadel) so when 3DS will fell outdated in 2-3 years NGS will still rival smartphoes from 2013-2014.
