Just like I predicted :D
The incumbent approach. Make their product 'better' and more high-end.
We shall see how it works out.

AND while i see its online capablitys can we actually play games online? get COD on here and lets see it sell
RRP £400 what it needs RRP: £180 |
well the main focus of the NGP was online social connectivity. You can confirm that online play is in. And its an given since the PSP offered online play with such titles as Socom.
also there is an touch verison of the xmb, the front screen is touch. And on the topic of uncharted, resistance, killzone on the NGP: why not they are 3 of the biggest franchises for the PS3.
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
The tech sounds amazing, but the whole idea sounds too much like the PS3 that I already have. I am going to need to see a very affordable price (<$300) and a whole lot of original games (not PS3 ports) before I am sold.
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D
i think psn and trophy stuff will be good for this device and as much linkage to the PS3 as possible for dual owners
what is will be the release date and price i wonder, will it come out this year
people talk about the PSP like it was a failure, which i don't think it was but it will be interesting to see how the NGP/PSP2 sells with all the tech competition with phones/pads
its hard to tell how much h/ware it might sell right now,
Appeals to me more then 3DS. Prob cause it only has trophies though lol.

Exactly my opinion. I just hope they build up games for the PSP this time. MH really showed what the PSP is capable of, so i hope another game can rise up for it.
I gotta admit it does look sexy, and the interface looks sick! but we'll have to wait for E3 before i decide. I hope they don't overprice this...
Oh btw so glad they reverted to cartridge :D

Reverted would mean they have used it before.
This is the first time ever.
yes its very interesting that they are restoring to cartridges which are SD cards.
The SD cards themselves can hold more than an DVD and they will have 8,16, 32 gb cards.
But i like how they are focusing on both flash iphone style games with PS Suite as well as big games with the big publishers.
