It effectively has to double what it's taken it 5 years to accomplish.
Outside of NA and parts of EMEAA I'm not sure if it will leave a legacy and continue to sell well like the PS2.

Probably not. But the fact it doesn't seem silly to voice the question says a lot about how well the 360 has sold vs the Xbox.
Depending on Kinect legs, whether it manages to take of more outside US/UK and English speaking regions, and when new consoles are announced I'm thinking anything from 75 to 90 million.
Looking at how much of its sales are US centric I feel that increasing marketshare outside US might be more important than Kinect in terms of what the console's final tally will be. Obviously Kinect could help that.

Yup, by production's end, it should be around 80-90 mil consoles, that dwarfs the original...

yeah, I know I'm just being sarcastic. Though I really don't think 100m is in the cards for either machine.
