Expected Killzone 3 to do slightly better, didn't expect too much, but this is pretty low. Amazed by such a big jump for Bulletstorm 5 weeks away from release, it might end up doing pretty well for a new franchise.
And just amazed by those pokemon numbers. (then again i personally have no interest in pokemon games).
Well Pokemon Diamond/Pearl did 1.36 million while Heartgold/Soulsilver did 1.03 million. Platinum 725k. So curious to see with those preorder numbers just how much Black/White can put up. Looking to maybe be about 2 million first week.
Bulletstorm has the Gears 3 beta, so its doing well on 360 but crappy on PS3.
| 21 | Mortal Kombat | PS3 | 13 | 8,100 | 44,879 |
| 29 | Mortal Kombat | X360 | 13 | 5,762 | 31,342 |
bulletstorm won't do much more than the preorders because of some gears beta and other great preorder bonus's exclusive for the 360 only!
damn ea smart if it didn't have the gears beta i wonder where it would be?
Bulletstorm went from not being on the charts a few weeks ago to being in the top 10. It looks like it won't have any problem going toe to toe with Killzone 3 next month. Also, look for Homefront to start making its way up the list as well.
Bulletstorm might just as well have been exclusive to the 360 in Americas then... interesting to see how it fares alongside KZ3
with 7 weeks to go Black/White has more preorders then the final week of heart gold/soul silver. There is no way these preorders can be accurate or black/white will do around 3-4mil in Americas first week unless preorders drop a lot from now on or the preorder to buy ratio is much lower then previous pokemon games.
