Forums - Microsoft - X360 HD Remakes?

So, PS3 is getting a slew of remakes, MGS, Tomb Raider, Splinter cell, ICO etc. So that got me thinking, are there any remakes you'd like to see from the old Xbox library? I understand why MGS is exclusive to PS3, due to the fact they've all mostly been exclusive to the PS platform, same with ICO, but I struggle to see why Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia etc were?

Anyhow, remakes I'd like to see from the Xbox days would be,

TimeSplitters (Obviously multiplat as it was multiplat back then)

Halo 1 & 2

Fable: TLS

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath <- I heard that's getting a remake, but PS3 exclusive ._.

Any games you'd like to replay? Not only from Xbox, but from any other console, GC etc too.

Xbox 360 plays xbox 1 games in 720p HD btw...Every game which is backwards compatible is already in HD.

Really!? I've played one of the Xbox games recently, Fable: TLS I think, I found the graphics apalling! Are you sure that's the best juice it has?

I dont know if this is a factor or not but most of these games may take up quite a bit of memory on disc. And i guess devs want to fit the collection on one disk? Not sure why 360 isnt getting many collections. i would like knihgts of the old republic remake.hell i would enjoy a star wars battlefron remake.

The resolution of original Xbox games is upscaled, but the graphics are essentially the same so its no significant difference other than less jaggies. That's pretty much all you can expect from an emulator.

The HD remakes on PS3 are ports with enchanced graphics.

Yeah I'd like some ports too, eg, Halo 1 and 2 with Reach engine ._., that would sell kazillions. And some games are not working for some reason, Timesplitters 2  for example, I can't play it on my 360.

I can't imagine the amount of discs is important. Several DVDs is probably cheaper than a single Bluray.

I wouldn't mind seeing some HD remakes on the 360. Perhaps MS doesn't want HD ports on market for competitive reasons. PS3 is getting a bunch of these HD remakes and they could likely eat into sales of big budget retail games throughout the year.

I would like a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 2 HD Remake with Achievements.

ya me 2. it would be awsome if it also had republic commando. i would pay 60 bucks for that. anyway the only hd remake for 360 that i can think of is escape from butcher bay, and that came with another game. that was an awsome game.



Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.
