I’ve highlighted the platform exclusives in turquoise and the remakes of older games from previous generation gaming platforms in yellow

I’ve done this to the best of my knowledge but please correct me if I’m wrong. Please note some of the games maybe pushed back to 2012 and beyond and some may go multiplatform at some point in the future. Also some of the games may only be released in certain territories.

As you can see it’s a great year to be a gamer regardless of which platform you’re gaming on. Some admittedly have it better than others but nevertheless gamers have (arguably) never had it so good. Unless of course you hate sequels.

As to who picked the games, well here they are:-

·         The Top 10 PC selection were picked by PC Editor Charles Onyett

·         The Top 10 PS3 selection were picked by the IGN staff

·         The Top 10 X360 selections were picked by X360 Editor Hilary Goldstein, PS3 Associate Editor Ryan Clements and IGN podcast host of ‘Girlfight’ Associate Editor Kristine Steimer

·         The Top 6 Wii selection were picked by Comics editor Richard George

·         The Top 8 PSP selection were picked by IGN staff

·         The Top 10 3DS selection were picked by Comics editor Richard George

Around the Network

Dead Space 2 is not an exclusive.

I love the effort put into the Wii list

Aside from that, it's looking like an excellent year for videogames

No, but Dead Space Extraction(Well HD exclusive) is. Perhaps this is what he meant.

There is not one guy on IGN who plays on his Wii and enjoys it. Not one.

Ok comments taken on board, Thank you everyone, have edited about a thousand times already. Forgot landscape doesn't work well so have split up the chart. Damn 360 only got one exclusive on that list. No love for Forza 4 then.

I'm surprised Gears 3 is all the way down at #10.  No love for gears I suppose.  But all about that Skyward Sword.  Too bad I'll still probably have to wait for the end of the year for it.

That's also assuming that some of those come to the West >.>
