Best contenders are Uncharted 3, Zelda Wii, Gears 3, The Last Guardian, Infamous 2, Killzone 3 and Agent (if its 2011)

Uncharted 3 should be at least a mid-90. I don't see Naughty Dog making a disappointing game. It might be a couple points below Uncharted 2 but should be very high.

Zelda Wii is a candidate because it gets an automatic high mark just for having the word "Zelda" in the title plus it could be a lot of fun with motion controls and Zelda games are always good.

Gears 3 should get at least a low 90, maybe mid 90. Gears 1 and 2 both got 94's i think.

Last Guardian will get a high mark almost certainly.

Infamous 2 is a long shot IMO. It could pull and Uncharted and go from "very good" to "utterly amazing" like the jump from Uncharted to Uncharted 2.

Killzone 2 got a 91 or 92 I think so if Killzone 3 makes a few improvements it should easily be mid-90's.

Agent probably won't be 2011 but if it is It'll be good. Rockstar exclusive playstation games are always good :)

Smart money is on Uncharted 3 IMO, to sum up my thoughts.

Uncharted 3 will definitely be at the forefront. Now that I think of it, either tied with The Last Guardian or a few points higher.

FF Versus XIII is almost vaporware.

Just because we haven't had an announcement, doesn't make it vapourware...

Don't count your chickens though. How many sequels have been better than the original? I expect UC3 to disappoint (i.e. 90-92), due to the amount of hype and expectation, so I see Zelda winning it.

IDK, Naughty Dog is definitely a force to be reckoned with. With each successive title in all their game lines they only get better(not including spin offs). They have never made a bad game by far and I am expecting generous improvements in U3 that will blow our minds. Although as you said, the hype could kill it on arrival ala Heavenly Sword and GT5.

I suppose only time will tell...

That's a mistake then. It'll get killed by COD8, Nintendo's big game (Pikmin 3?) and, of course, Skyrim. May not hurt game reviews, but with that sorta quality, may be hard to pick between them...

May also get delayed to Q1 next year. It's a long time away...

Skyward sword for Wii, Pokemon Black and white for DS and Ocarina of time for 3DS.
