I never doubted it would be ready day one at all. The Nintendo store on Wii was open from day one so I would expect the same with 3DS. plus Nintendo is going to want to sell VC games day one. I think the service will rock. I can't wait to play all those GameBoy games I missed (Didn't own a GameBoy till Pokemon came out in 1996)
