Now I'm not sure how gamertags and such have united the community on the PSBoard and Microsoft board. But I have wondered what 3DS Universal Friend codes will do for the Nintendo board community?

I know in the past every time a big 3DS game came out people would make friend code threads to exchange codes between users. But now with the 3DS coming will their be a big thread for uniting the VGChartz userbase? A big phone book like thread for VGChartz?

I know I am already thinking of users I want to connect with. Most of my friends on VGChartz  like Smeags , Galaki and SnesBoy assuming they all get 3DS. Do you think that this universal friend codes thing will help unify the VGChartz community?

Honestly nobody thinks that the universal friend codes will help us as a community unite? I can't wait to get my ass kicked by Rol (I'm being realistic I'm not the best gamer) or play online with Lord Of the Night Knight or Superchunk. Don't you think it'll be great for the community for us to all be gaming together?

I think it'll be cool to see what users on VGChartz are playing too. It'll be awsome don't you think? or am I really the only one excited?

I think it'll be cool to get some friends from vgchartz as friends on my 3ds and compete a bit depending on the game.

yeah i think it can help, do we have a list of games that are confirmed to have wi-fi multiplayer. i know SSFIV 3D, Mercenaries and DOA Dimensions will have it. Do we know any others?

As far as deepening our VGChartz friendships, I'm sure it will help a great deal. I really haven't done much participation with fellow VGChartians since Brawl came out, and that was a lot of fun (did a bit of Mario Kart Wii as well, and that was fun as well). Hopefully with a (much) easier online interface we wont have to spend so much time getting set up and just get to the having fun part.

Would be nice to have a unified sector, certainly. The few online games i've gotten since i joined here (all of two: The Conduit and Monster Hunter Tri) were augmented well, but it will be nice to build that community from the start in this case.

I think many of us on VGChartz will become better friends once were all online. Too bad theirs a limit of a hundred names I think that'll fill up fast considering how many members we have here.
