The real question is what we have on wii for the first half of 2011? Not only Nintendobut 3rd party also looks empty... And thats quite sad :(

Looking at Nintendo's release line up prior to E3 these days and making judgements isn't exactly the wisest thing in the world to do.

As for LOZ: SS, NCL wanted to release it in the first half of 2011 but no official date was ever given.  So it's not technically delayed even if the Gamestop date is valid.


Yes but we did know that Retro Studios were due for a game release. This time around, there doesn't seem to be much room for new games from Nintendo apart from that new IP I mentioned, especially for 2011 and especially with development focused on the 3DS. Again I'll bring up my thread:

EAD have a crap load of content coming to launch the 3DS and a few games for Wii. There isn't a whole heap of room for unannounced Wii titles in 2011, of course there could be one or two games, for example if EAD 5 are doing Wii Relax then EAD 2 could have something, although it could be that new IP in which case I wouldn't expect to see anything from EAD Tokyo.
I might look into the development timelines a bit more later today (especially second parties)..

A big meh from me.

Zero new games could come out for the Wii for half of 2011 and Nintendo would still profit because of the 3DS sales and 3DS software sales.

Wow this is the longest we have waited for a 3D console Zelda game :( buuuuuut this is just rumor…. I bet it is true since it is a bad rumor :(

 

Well at lest we get OoT on 3DS :D

Either they did this because the game needs more work than we think or Ninty pulled a GOW3 on us and wanted to have their biggest (relevant?) title of the year for the holidays. I still think Wii got crap this year as all focus is on 3DS at least for the first half of the year anyway.
