I don't really hate any company, as hate means I would not like any aspect of their business.

Microsoft I don't like for their business model in the gaming industry. I think it is overall very flawed by the simple fact they are splashing money at it. The X-box 360 and games it's produced are good and the Live service is top notch (you get what you pay for and all that) but sorting a failure rate of 30% by setting side a billion dollars would have killed any other company but Microsoft. Think Windows (XP) is great.

Sony annoyed me at the start of this generation by being arrogant and pricing me out of my console of choice.

I don't not like Apple, I don't like Apple fans.

I neither hate or love corporate entities, to do so seems slighlty weird to me.

None of the companies are doing anything at the moment which deserves true hate. At best I can think you could feel concern about their actions because of either the personal implications or the wider implications of what they do. However there are none without peer and anyone who truly dislikes Microsoft has at least two alternatives, ditto for Apple, more so for Nintendo and even more so for Sony. It isn't as if their actions put people between a proverbial rock and a hard place.

Now if someone starts talking about pain, suffering, environmental catastrophe, deformities, poverty, disease or anything similar caused by these companies, speak up because I'll join them on that hate-train.

I dont "HATE" any of them but at the moment nintendo arnt ranking high on my list of awesomeness >_>  Next gen i may like Nintendo again :D Just not a fan this gen :P (DS isnt bad though)

I dislike Nintendo because they have created a culture of smug, self-entitled and whining shits (see the nintendo fanboys) who think that just because their beloved console has sold the most it is somehow better and whine about 3rd parties and the industry all the time.

I've mostly gotten over immatureish hate for other manufacturers. They do their own thing and it really doesn't effect what i enjoy in the industry.

I'm no fan of Apple products, but i feel the same way there, except on one particular point: those damned "I'm a mac and i'm a PC" commercials. At the height of their run i was practically screaming at the TV every time those stupid commercials appeared on screen

One of those crappy internet discussions. It's 2011 and people should try to accept that people differ and like/need different things. That's why there is Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony. That's why there's Microsoft and Apple. That's why there is not just Ford.

Buy and use whatever you like and let other people do what they want to do. Your choice isn't perfect for everyone else. Be happy that every company got a decent competitor.

Ignorance and intolerance is nothing else than being pretty stupid.

There are things I dislike about each manufacturer because they make decisions that impact me negatively as a consumer.

Sony boasts about features that make their product superior only to remove them to serve their own interests. Microsoft created some of the most inherently unreliable hardware of all time and refused to do anything about it until forced to act. Nintendo thinks people should pay $60 for their games years after release. Apple locks their operating system onto proprietary hardware that dosen't fit my needs. Nokia phones have convoluted interfaces and buggy software.

Despite this, I don't hate any of these companies and still pay for and use their products. If you 'hate' a company because of the sort products they make, their attitude, or the attitude of their customers (ie: Apple fanboys), you probably need a more constructive hobby.
