I'm also waiting for the 3DS lite. Not impressed with battery life or intial price, and I only buy 2 DS games a year right now so I can wait.



It's just that simple.

3-5 hrs is for max settings with full 3D wifi.

Turning 3D off nets you 8 hrs.

Turning wifi off gets you even more.

Turning the brightness down....

I also think there's not much weight/size they could shave off. Maybe there will be a version with bigger screens, but that's also questionable.

Only because the DS had 3 revisions doesn't mean the 3DS will have as many.

Gameboy had 3, GBA and 3, DS had 4 versions. 3DS will have one more that's for sure.

And the DSLite had stronger battery life and a brighter screen in addition to weighing less. The 3DSlite will be the same thing, and slightly cheaper. I can wait.

I'm not going to buy one at launch.  I'll wait until that one must have title is released.  I didn't buy a DS until well after DSLite released.

If they have a particularly spectacular line up for the machine at E3 this year and there are decent bundles closer to this Christmas, I may get one, if not, I'll wait.
