I don't know if I'm going to wait for the 3DS Lite, but I'm definitely going to wait a bit more. I want to know how it does out in the wild with respects to battery life and how the 3D effect is longer term. A price reduction or major hardware revision certainly wouldn't do any damage either!

It alwasy amazes me that there are some people who are that blind they don't think a redesign will happen. Guess what, it's inevitable. The only question is when. Just because it's similar in size to DSLite doesn't mean they don't have a huge amount of work to do to make the 3DS a decent product.

I am sorry, maybe I misundertood something... Are you saying the 3DS is not a decent product?

Anyway, don't expect a 3DS revision for awhile.  And when it happens, it'll probably be like XL, so bigger screens, bigger battery and more expensive. :/

With my current luck with DS's, my 3DS will probably break down in some form by the time the redesigned 3DS rolls around, so I'll spring for it by then.

Seriously, I've lost 4 DS's at this point (2 Phats and 2 Lites), all for different reasons.

By Lite I don't mean smaller. I just mean a redesign, that is:

1) cheaper

2) maybe battery lasts longer

3) Available in Green. (please)

with that game line-up ill probably just wait for a price-drop or redesign, whichever comes first. Most of the games I would want are just ports anyway so i could wait
