Mass Effect 1 events (mostly in the forms of side missions) effect Mass Effect 2 in small ways, but it still adds to the overall game, and make it much better.

No. It just a plus and don't make the game best or worst after all... most people I talk said they played without using the first save game.

The ability to play the trilogy from begining to end either on the PC or 360 is superior to only being able to play 2 of the 3 games on the PS3...

You aren't really trying to argue otherwise...are you?

Yeah... the late port Mass Effect 2 is better on PS3... that's the only fact here.

You want to add Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2 to make it a better game on PC or 360...  but that's not change the fact Mass Effect 2 is better on PS3.

I can play Mass Effect 1 on PC (the best version)... and so play Mass Effect 2 on PS3 (the best version). I didn't need to play all trilogy do make a game better... I can just play the best version of Mass Effect 3 (PC?).

So if Uncharted 3 come to PC with better graphics and some new features... the Uncharted 3 on PS3 will be a better game just because it have Uncharted 1 & 2 too? Bullshit... that's just a bad excuse.

It would be if Uncharted 1&2 effected 3 in some way. Like the actual Save Data. <.<
You honestly don't seem to understand on save data effects each game.

Ok. What ME1 save data change in ME2??? Please, convice me... because all I read and talk until now made me believe that not much changes and the experience is  the same without the save.

Believe what you want, but trust me most Mass Effect fans would tell you the same, it is those little things that make Mass Effect 2 even greater. Conrad Vernor, etc, but than again whats the point of arguing with you, when you generally have one sided view towards everything.

So you didn't convince me... close case.

I'm leaving now.

This list (~50 different decisions) is what carries from Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2.

It's good that Mass Effect comes to PS3 and if you don't have a 360 or PC you should play it cause it's an amazing game in its own right, but there's really no point arguing which version is superior, as Mass Effect is all about the decisions  you make. Importing these in ME2 opens up more options/storyline/extras etc.

Thanks... I'll read it later and post what I think.

I don't think people have ever overhyped a feature in a game this much before.

Infamous 2 is going to be similar people, it will let you carry over your saves from the previous game. Lets see how many people are jumping for joy for that gimmicky feature. Things like the citadel are major, and are included in the PS3 version. The minor things aren't.

Oh noes, I can't play the epic mass effect trilogy on my PS3!!11

Big deal. If you are so interested in ME, then get it on the PC because that's where its the best, a couple of gimmicky emails and relationships (<- lol) are not going to matter.

One could argue that the complete version is available only on the PS3(that's the goty version). Suddenly its more important to play ME 1 more than ME 2 itself to enjoy ME 2 more.

Dead Space 2 allows you to get a plasma cutter through the save file of DS 1, OMGZZZZZ if you haven't played DS 1 you can't enjoy DS 2 lololol.

Many people just like to play the default version of a game without changing it by loading up a save file, ME 2 was just really bad without loading up a save file that's all. Its because of that the comic book was provided. If someone wants to know the story of ME, all he has to do is go to wiki, that's all. Or  better, play ME 1 on 360 or PC.

If such small differences mattered then the best version of batman arkham asylum, red dead redemption are all on the PS3, because of uh..hu joker and uh...some clothes dlc lollol.

IGN changed from a 100-point scale to a 20-point scale some time ago. 9.6 rounds to 9.5 if going by .5 increments.
