THey should make cod5 from the perspective of a Russian soldier, being sent to the front with out ammo, using scortched earth tatics, and just trying to survive during the winter

Did you play Call of Duty 2 at all?

I guess a Civil War game would be too much to ask?

As an RTS, I can see it. As an FPS, not so much. There's something about standing shoulder to shoulder with a thousand other soldiers and firing straight across a field at another thousand shoulder-to-shoulder soldiers, then taking 60 seconds to reload, then doing it again, that doesn't seem to offer quite the same action experience people expect from FPSs.

 I loved North and South.

I'm hoping that it's not Infinity Ward doing this and it's other developers (such as the ones that did COD3). I'd prefer if Infinity Ward did another game in the game world they have set up for Call of Duty 4 rather than go back to World War II.

Well, maybe something other than World War II would be better.

Actually, I believe an experienced shooter could squeeze off 3 shots a minute. That would make for an exciting game, especially when the bullets aren't guaranteed to hit where you're aiming.

To be quite honest im an arab and even though I thought COD 4 was brilliant I couldn't help but feel slightly bad about killing arabs throughout the game.

I think an excellent innovation for COD 5 would be the ability to take different sides like in Command and Conquer.

So its cool to continue killing the Germans, right?

Your not killing anyone.  Its a virtual simulation haha.  Starting to sound like Jack Thompson guys.

Its not real, so your not even killing anyone.  Just a game.

Yeah, i totally agree with you.

They should even to a game with you fighting as the nazi's even

A WW2 game where you play as a German wouldn't even have to be that controversial you know. There were millions of soldiers in the various armed forces of Nazi Germany, and most of them were regular guys caught up in the wheels of an oppressive regime, trying to survive.

Unfortunately nobody has the balls to make such a game due to ZOMG NAZI!!!11

Fox News Interactive

Today, Activision Blizzard, News Corporation, Organization of Assorted Sentient Evil Beings from the Fifth Dimension, and a dozen other mysterious parties announced the formation of Fox News Interactive, a gaming company co-owned by the first two crusaders of justice that will publish titles based off the patriotic properties of Fox News. The initial lineup of titles, all to be released in 2008, is below.

Ted Nugent's Guitar Hero: Developer Neversoft and rock patriot Ted Nugent present an unique experience where you, as rock patriot Ted Nugent, blast your way through enemies of freedom such as gays, the Japanese and communist forest animals, with methods of self-defense every American man is entitled to from a bow to a nuclear weapon using a guitar controller. This Wii, PS2, and Xbox 360 title provides little Americans with the crucial message that peace is violence in a fun enjoyable manner.

Bill O'Reilly's Call of Duty: Developer Treyarch and historian Bill O'Reilly proudly present a historically accurate World War II shooter from the first-person perspective putting you in the shoes of a Nazi soldier as you experience the atrocities such as the Malmedy massacre, in which many German prisoners of war were mercilessly killed, committed by the American soldiers with your own eyes.

World of Fox News: Blizzard and Fox News bring you the most exciting massively multiplayer role-playing title ever, World of Fox News, in which players assume the role of one of the litany of patriotic, objective Fox News personalities the epic quest to create a fair and balanced world driven by patriotic, objective journalism...but watch out for the liberals!
Three more to be revealed at a later date.

That's some pretty dumb satire. She ought to realize that, evil or not, right-wing Americans are pretty much the last people on Earth who would make a game like that.
