Split between 2 or 3, it'll either be dangerously close or barely crawl over it. But then again, there is a chance of PS2 undertrackz so the numbers maybe be adjusted a little?

And if 360 crawls past the 10M mark it'll be like.. 1 in 7 households have/had one.. That's just mad.

It all depends on how long MS supports the 360. I can see the 360 having a very long life just for the online experience alone.

And since MS makes money from online gaming, that's a good reason to keep 360 alive.


True, didn't they finally plug the original Xbox Live like less than 6/12 months ago?

PS3 price cut this year will do a mess... also the time exclusive deal with ea for fifa 12 will also increase hardware sales

Not as much... because remember PS3's price cut in 2009.. had more impact than 360's or wii's

No it didn't. this is UK. Go look at the numbers, within a few weeks 360 > PS3 in the UK after its price cut.

PS3 has never posted above 1 million units in the UK in any given year. 360 price cut in 08 propelled it to 1.4 mill and Kinect this year to 1.6 mill

Do your research!

I'm not yelling ... just explaining things to you seen as you seem pretty uninformed regarding UK sales. I don't need to wait and see, Every year in UK 360 > PS3

2007: 360 (930k) > PS3 (880k)
2008: 360 (1.48M) > PS3 (960k)
2009: 360 (1.19M) > PS3 (980k)
2010: 360 (1.6M) > PS3 (980k)

Unlike WW were PS3 saw massive gains in 2009 over 2008, and then a YoY increase again in 2010, it's not been the case in the UK.
