Forums - General - Will Facebook's traffic ever overcome Google's traffic?

Does Google.com include all the other googles though... ie google.co.uk etc.

doesn't seem to include region specific google sites as alexia seems to list them separately. google.co.in (India) for example is 15th in the world so add in them and I don't think facebook is going to beat it in the near future though I wouldn't say never...

also they method they use seems like it could skew the results a bit considering they collect usage data though people using their browser toolbar...

Can you imagine a world where more people visit facebook than google? It'd be horrible.

Considering that much of Facebook's success is down to satisfying people's insecurities and attention-whoring, I'm with radishhead.

Maybe amongst the teen demographic, sure. But Facebook has almost 70 million members who are over 35 in the US, alone - I'm sure most of these use it for the networking functions.
