And they were extremists, because assassination politicians is an extremist gesture. Terrorism is a spectrum, and they were certainly on that spectrum.

And would you also call all those people who tried to kill Hitler a terrorist? Killing a politician isnt alwyas an terrorist gesture. Would you also call Milos Obilic, the assasinator of Ottoman sultan Murad I a terrorist?

What? I hold no sympathy towards them in the slightest. They are responsible for killing thousands of Serbs in Bosnia back than. But today, everything is considerd terrorisam to promote fear and control people. You are blind if you dont see that.

The real problem is that today terrorists are made out to be more dangerous than armies (in the US muslim terrorists are made out to be a bigger threat than the Soviets were; there are people over there who actually think islamic terrorists could invade their country).
