I know! It's just not a true Spider-Man and super villain match up until you get some funny Spidey banter going on. Spectacular Spider-Man really nailed it on that front which made the loss of that show even harder on me. :(

I still have no idea why they're rebooting the franchise just 10 years after it started. Raimi's first two movies were excellent renditions of the comic. Yeah, the third one sucked, I get that but the franchise can move forward beyond that instead of just starting over (though starting with Gwen Stacy instead of Mary Jane IS pretty awesome).
