This is actually a fantastic point. Google and MS seem to be taking each other on. Will be bloody good to see the fight. Its actually pretty comical though when i installed firefox it gave me a choice of preferred search engine between bing! and google... i chose bing!


Why choose bing? Google is amazing and bing just felt too cluttered imo. I would choose bing over yahoo any day though lol.

I am an MS fanboy through and through haha. Yahoo is actually integrated into Bing, the same parameters get used in Bing. Well that is part of Bing anyway. A lot of companies seem to be using Bing, I heard the Iphone will eventually have Bing! as the search engine default. 

Could be wrong though.

If we can have more google integration with the PS3 I think it would be rather good. What I really want, however, is google maps with PlayStation Move integration, that would be rather awesome

I guess this cool.  I really wanted Sony to bring over the DVR features that they had already released in Europe and Japan. -- I'm guessing they may never do that now. Google TV is ok, but I can't imagine that I would ever use it since it doesn't provide more video content, just better ways of finding video content that is already available.

Can someone please explain what GoogleTV actually is/does? I've heard of it but never used it. Is it literally just TV on the PS3 or whatever?

The idea is that you can search on your TV, and it will find all the results for your search from your cable/satellite as well as online on demand services and stuff, but there have been issues with sites refusing to co-operate for the service so far

That could happen seeing as google is at odds with apple.

Several Gaming websites? What gaming websites? I know it hasn't been mentioned on 1up, Endgadget, Gizmodo, Joystiq, Kotaku, PS3Blog, PS3 News, PS3Vault, N4G, or even the PlayStation forums.

The only other place this is being mentioned is http://poland.droidinlife.com/rumor-google-tv-coming-to-the-sony-playstation-3/ and it's still just a rumor with no source.

I want GoogleTV on my PS3 as much as anyone else, hell I subscribe to "google TV" and PS3 on the forums and even have Google alerts for whenever a page comes up that mentions Google TV and PS3 on the same page (hence how I found this site). But please stop perpetuating rumors unless you have something tangible, you're getting my hopes up.
